KASTAR 988 is a special formula in super tough, stainless, elastic and versatile construction and installation adhesive, with extremely high initial adhesion and high hardness for heavy-duty, instant and permanent adhesion, that is based on hybrid technology and moisture-cures sealant.

Application

- Adhere and install metal parts in the construction of roofs, façades, containers, air ducts, trailers, bodywork and ships

Surface Preparation
Brush and remove dust before applying on concrete and other alkaline surfaces.
Standards
Meets or exceeds the requirements of the following specifications:
CE marked for EN 15651 for façade applications.
Restrictions
- Avoid application below +5 °C and above +35 °C.
- Do not apply on curing silicones.
- Minimum depth for working joint is 6 mm.
- Maximum expansion and contraction should not exceed 25% of average joint width.
Storage and shelf life
12-18 months if stored in its original package, away from direct sunlight and moisture, between+10⁰C and +25 ⁰C
